"How can I book a tattoo?"

At Trenton Point Tattoo, we mainly work by appointment. We are happy to help walk-ins whenever possible.

But to save us both some time, booking in advance is highly recommended. Your first step would be to read through this FAQ page, and checking out all of our artists portfolios to determine which artist feels right to you. Feel free to email us when you are ready to commit to booking your new tattoo! In your email, please send your project description/(clear)placement & reference photos/contact phone number. The more thorough the email, the easier it is for us to point you in the right direction.

We do get a good chunk of emails, so we thank you in advance for your patience!

"I sent you an email and you haven't responded, what do I do now?"

chill :)

Thanks for your patience!

"What will my deposit be?"

Every artist works fairly differently. Most or our artists require a 100 to 150 $ deposit to reserve your tattoo appointment date. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. This deposit is used to secure the time allotted for you and will be used during your final session.  Larger pieces such as legs/sleeves/back pieces or sections take a lot of time and dedication, and may require a deposit of 200 or more (depending on the piece or artist you are working with).

All of this information will be communicated to you via email or by consultation (varies from artist to artist).

"What if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?"

If you must reschedule, please contact us within 48 hours to prevent forfeiture of your deposit. All cancellations will result in forfeiture of deposit.

"Where are you located?"

We are located at 2105 W. Trenton, Edinburg, TX 78539 || 956.215.5532

"How long will my tattoo take?"

Every tattoo is unique, so there's really no way to determine this until we've spoken about your project (via email/person). Keep in mind that tattoos take time and dedication. Sessions vary by size, design, placement, pain tolerance, and other related factors. Each artist will communicate their methods via email or by consultation.

"How much do you charge?"

All of your tattoo project costs/booking/specifics will be discussed via email or by consultation. Every client, Artist, and Tattoo Project is different and there are many factors (size/placement/design/etc.), that determine your overall project costs.

"Can you draw something for me?"

Of course we can! That's what we do for a living.

Once we've determined what your ideas and project concepts are, we’ll have a better idea of what you're going for. Don’t forget that every artist works differently and will have drawing(s) ready for the day of your future appointment date. We do not send out our designs.

"When will my design be ready?"

Designs will be ready on the day of your appointment.

We do not send out any designs.

"Can you replicate a tattoo or drawing I found online.? I really want it to look JUST like this picture (insert random photo):"

Nope, sorry.

Out of respect to the original artist, their client, and your future self, we will not do that. Your tattoo will be drawn in your chosen artist style.

"What about this tattoo (BLANK) artist started, can you finish it?"

No, sorry. Out of respect to the original artist, We won't do that.

"Do you offer coverups?"

We highly recommend laser removal before attempting a coverup.

Depending on your tattoo and its coverup possibilities, one of our artists might be able to work with you. We need to see the tattoo in person to determine that.

Coverups require time/patience/open minded-design, and the use of space surrounding the existing tattoo to make it successful. Being open to the size of the new tattoo is necessary.

Short answer: depends on your tattoo, the artist, and your tattoo ideas,…… HARD MAYBE.

"Are tattoos safe?"

Heck yea! Brand new supplies are used on all new clients. You will be tattooed in a clean, safe, and comfortable environment, In addition, all of our supplies are fully disposable, and all material used is thrown out after each session.

After care is just as important and tattoo application, so make sure to follow the steps given to you after being tattooed. It's always better to ask us any follow up questions, than to guess, google, or ask the homies.

"How old do I have to be, to get tattooed? "

You must be at least 18 years of age.

"Can I have my parents sign some sort of waiver if I'm under 18?"

Nope, sorry.

Patience, my young Padawan. We will be here when you turn 18!

"Can I bring a friend(s)?"

Life has changed since Covid-19, and so have we.

We ask that you do not bring any extra bodies, friends, family, etc, and continue to wear your mask while inside our studio. We want to keep our foot traffic to a minimum and our shop as clean and sterile as possible for everyone of our guests.

..your friend would probably get bored chillin’ in the lobby anyway, send pics!

"I don't really feel like waiting, can I just walk in for a tattoo?"

While walk-ins are fun, we unfortunately cannot guarantee we will have availability. We encourage you to follow our booking steps to schedule your future tattoo!

Thanks in Advance!
